Jelly-Boy

Jelly-boy

What happens when a jellyfish falls in love with a plastic bag she mistakes for a jelly-boy? He is big and strong, and so very brave, but hides a dangerous truth. Will their love endure, or will she learn the dangerous truth?

Jelly-Boy will inspire the next generation of ocean warriors.

Published by Walker Books Australia, Nicole Godwin and Christopher Nielsen have joined forces to create this cautionary conservation tale about protecting out oceans.

In November 2020, Jelly-Boy won the Conservation Awareness for Children category of the Whitley Awards, bestowed by the Zoological Society of NSW.

And in February 2021, Jelly-Boy was announced on the Notables list for the Children's Book Council of Australia's Picture Book of the Year.

Check in with your local bookseller to get a copy of Jelly-Boy (just ask if you can’t find it on the shelves). It’s great to support local book stores!
